Choice of research partnerships
The excellent links we enjoy with our partners are the lifeblood of the EIA-FR. Our institute is committed to helping businesses innovate and develop new services or products.
There are a number of ways businesses can engage with the EIA-FR.
Companies can commission the Institute to undertake research and development work tailored exclusively to the needs of the contracting party. The subsequent contract sets out the details of the R&D services to be provided by the Institute in return for payment.
The Institute is commissioned by a third party to provide research and development services which are tailored to the needs of both the contracting party and the Institute. The subsequent contract sets out the details of the R&D services to be provided by the Institute in return for payment.
The professors and scientific staff members of the institute conduct research projects with one or several partners. The partners contribute to the research effort either by providing material support or their time and effort. Collaboration is governed by a contract which specifies collaboration conditions and questions related to intellectual property.
The Institute is commissioned by a third party to provide research services in the form of a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis. As a general rule, the Institute is not paid for this service. The project description, which serves as a contractual agreement, sets out the details of the research services to be provided.
iPrint: Collaborating with us
The institute iPrint specialises in the development of creative digital printing solutions. Its “neutral” stance as regards past developments in the field allows iPrint to adopt a freer approach to resolving present and future problems.
The institute has built on its considerable knowledge and skills base thanks to the many feasibility studies it has carried out in a variety of inkjet-related fields of application. iPrint has proven expertise in two highly specialised fields – “drop-watching” and the study of viscous fluids.
Our innovation partners
Companies who enter into a research partnership with our Institute can also benefit from our extensive regional, national and international network to boost their innovation performance.
